Job summary

Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore is seeking a Lecturer (Applied Artificial Intelligence) for the School of Informatics & IT. You will deliver lessons in face-to-face and online formats for both full-time and part-time courses, focusing on practical applications of Computer Vision.

You will design and update teaching materials, supervise projects, mentor students, evaluate assignments, and collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to advance applied AI research.

Qualifications

• Possess relevant academic qualifications in CS/SE/AI or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in application development or AI with CV focus.
• Hands-on with DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras for vision tasks.
• Proficient with OpenCV or equivalent libraries.
• Strong Python skills; also familiar with Java/C#/JavaScript.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player with industry partner experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in both face-to-face and online formats for courses.
• Design, develop, and update teaching materials with practical AI focus.
