Job summary

Public Service Division invites applications for a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering within the School of Engineering. You will deliver lectures, develop modules, supervise final year projects, and collaborate with industry partners and universities to advance education and applied research.

The role requires strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, power systems, and the ability to apply AI tools to teaching and problem solving, as well as mentoring students and contributing to outreach

Qualifications

Must have a strong grounding in electrical and electronic engineering with emphasis on power systems.
Experience or capability in applying AI tools to engineering problems and teaching.
Experience in academic or industry collaboration is desirable.
Ability to guide students and engage in outreach activities.

Responsibilities

Deliver and develop lectures in electronics, electrical engineering, and power systems.
Develop CET programs for diploma students and part-time learners.
Supervise final year projects and internships with industry partners.
Engage in research projects and industry consultancy.
Mentor students and participate in outreach and service activities.
Undertake administrative duties related to programme management.
