Job summary

Public Service Division, School of Engineering, is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communications and Next-Generation Connectivity. You will deliver and develop courses across circuits, RF, optical, and wireless systems, and supervise student projects.

You will also develop labs on AI-enabled wireless communications and collaborate with industry partners on curriculum and applied projects, supporting outreach and CET programmes.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in electronics, electrical engineering, communications and networking.
• Exposure to wireless or mobile communications, IP networking, RF or optical systems.
• Interest or experience in AI/ML applications for communications and AI-enabled network planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and develop lessons in electrical engineering, electronics and communications engineering.
• Teach topics including circuit analysis, analogue and digital electronics, instrumentation, communication systems, RF fundamentals, antennas, optical fibre communications, wireless communications and networks.
• Develop laboratories and projects involving AI-enabled wireless communications and network analytics.
• Collaborate with industry and university partners on curriculum development and industry engagement.
