Lecturer duties
- Prepare and deliver Lesson plans and instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
- Developing curriculum and course material that can be used across several platforms.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Prepare class activities for the modules.
- Setting and grading assignments and exams.
- Vetting of assignment/exam papers and second marking
- Conduct post-assessment analysis
- Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
- Provide feedback and monitor students’ performance and if needed guide them to achieve their student learning outcome.
- Give feedback to the head of the academic about the student’s classroom behavior, progression, and attendance of the students on a regular basis.
- Participate in school meetings and give the necessary inputs whenever needed on the academic matters
- Keep updated with developments in the subject area, teaching resources, and methods and make relevant changes to course materials (curriculum review) whenever needed to keep update with market trends.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
- Mentor students, especially industrial attachment students and assist them in their pursuit of graduation such as providing academic, career, and employability advisement.
- Industrial Project supervision as assigned.
- Organize holistic education programs for the students and prepare reports.
- Prepare to do any ad hoc duties of the Academic Director or the Principal
- You will be reporting to the Academic Director.
IA Mentor
- Coordinate industrial attachment programs for students, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and industry standards
- Establish partnership with industry stakeholders to facilitate placement opportunities for students.
- Monitor and evaluate students' progress during attachments, providing support as needed.
- Conduct on-site visits to partner companies to meet with students and assess their well-being, progress, and satisfaction.
- Facilitate meetings with employers, supervisors, and mentors to discuss students' performance, feedback, and any issues or concerns.
- Observe students' work environment, adherence to safety protocols, and overall experience.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels between students, employers, and educational institutions.
- Document observations, feedback, and recommendations from company visits.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and summaries to evaluate students' training experiences and identify areas for improvement.
