Job summary

sggovterp invites a passionate educator to join as Lecturer (Computer Aided Design and Thermal Fluids). You will design and deliver industry-relevant learning experiences for pre-employment and continuing education, mentor learners, and collaborate with industry partners on applied projects.

You should hold a relevant Mechanical or Materials Engineering qualification, with knowledge in CAD, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and an interest in Generative AI for teaching.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD, Thermodynamics, Smart Design, energy systems, sustainability, or Generative AI in teaching.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-driven, independent and a team player.
• Proactive and able to engage with students and stakeholders.
• Collaborative, adaptable and professional in a dynamic academic environment.
• Passionate about education and mentoring both young and adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, industry-relevant learning experiences for pre-employment and continuing education learners.
• Inspire and support learners in their academic, personal and professional development through effective teaching and mentorship.
• Collaborate with industry partners to create authentic learning opportunities, including projects, internships, visits and global programs.
• Contribute to curriculum enhancement, academic administration and school initiatives.
• Plan student development and outreach activities to promote engineering education and learner success.
