Job summary

sggovterp's School of Informatics & IT invites applications for a Lecturer (Applied Artificial Intelligence) role. The candidate will deliver both in-person and online courses, focusing on practical Computer Vision applications and mentoring students.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in AI/app development with CV capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras) applied to vision models.
• Proficiency with OpenCV or equivalent CV libraries.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; capable of mentoring learners.

[What we are looking for]

• Possess relevant academic qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in application development and/or Artificial Intelligence, with demonstrated expertise in Computer Vision, including: image and video analysis, pattern recognition, and visual perception tasks.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, applied to vision models (e.g., convolutional neural networks, object detection, image segmentation).
• Proficiency with open-source Computer Vision libraries such as OpenCV or equivalent.
• Skilled in at least two programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript), with strong proficiency in Python preferred.
• Passionate about sharing knowledge and engaging with both youth and adult learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and industry partners.
