What the role is:
As a Learning Support Specialist in ITE, your challenge is to formulate, review, and implement policies and processes in specific functional areas.
What you will be working on:
You will provide case counselling and management support to Special Educational Needs (SEN) students. You will be part of a professional team to coordinate and monitor the support provided to these SEN students and/or work with their families and relevant stakeholders within ITE/external agencies to render support to these SEN students.
What we are looking for:
You are expected to provide case counselling and management support for SEN students and their families, and implement intervention programmes, which include the following:
- Case counselling and management support for SEN students
- Referring SEN students to relevant stakeholders within and outside ITE to render necessary support
- Implementing programmes for SEN students’ mental wellness and social-emotional development
