Job summary

A leading MNC in Luxury Retail is seeking an L&D Assistant Manager to join their SEA team in Singapore. This role involves developing and executing learning programs, collaborating with various teams, and managing the learning calendar. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in a learning role and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. This position offers a supportive work environment and a competitive salary of up to $7.5K.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a learning/training role.
  • Proven hands-on experience in managing corporate programs from end to end.
  • Strong proficiency in virtual communication applications, e.g. Zoom, MS Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define region L&D plan, roadmap & budget in line with the Group's strategy.
  • Collaborate with teams to deploy customized programs in the region.
  • Perform learning needs analysis and conduct focus groups with stakeholders.
  • Responsible for end to end execution of learning programs.

The Opportunity

  • My client, a leading organsation (MNC) in the Luxury Retail industry has an exciting opportunity for a L&D Assistant Manager to join the SEA team. This position will focus on a vast array of learning and development activities held at the SEA Talent Development Centre including leadership programmes, lab series, cross-brand forums and skills-based workshops
  • Dynamic & supportive work environment
  • Location: Central
  • Monday - Friday
  • Salary: Up to $7.5K
  • 2 years contract (convertible to perm subjected to performance)

The Talent:

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience
  • Proven knowledge and experience in a learning/ training role
  • Hands-on experience in managing corporate program (End to end)
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with precise attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication applications, e.g. Zoom, MS Teams

Job Description

  • Define region L&D plan, roadmap & budget, consistent with the Group and region's L&D strategy
  • Collaborate with the Group and region's L&D team to deploy customised programs and learning initiatives in the region.
  • Perform learning needs analysis and conduct focus groups with stakeholders where these will determine the focus and strategy for the region.
  • L&D program development and delivery
  • Responsible for end to end execution of learning programs.
  • Liaise with key learning partners regarding requirements for programs.
  • Source, identify and evaluate potential learning partners.
  • Monitor execution of learning initiatives, evaluate effectiveness and propose enhancements and alternative methodologies
  • Support online and offline content creation for key in-house programs
  • Support facilitation of selected learning activities, e.g. Group Induction, Community Meetings, Best Practice Sharing Forums
  • Manage the learning portfolio and calendar management including communication with brands' HR teams and participants regarding upcoming programs
  • Monitor and track participants' enrollment via talent system
  • Work closely with Training Executive to organize logistics related to learning initiatives and events
