Job description

Job Scope:

You will assist in managing Learning & Development (L&D) functions, including but not limited to the following:

Learning & Development operations:

  • Coordinate training nominations from line Divisions and Statutory Boards (SBs) on inhouse and external programmes/courses
  • Design training nominations and feedback online forms
  • Coordinate with service providers and internal stakeholders on training registration/confirmation, scheduling, logistical requirement, catering needs and inter-SBs cross-billings to ensure smooth execution of L&D programmes
  • Administer training records, databases and documentation
  • Man L&D mailbox in a timely manner and assist with simple queries

Creation of emailers and publicity materials:

  • Design internal comms such as eDMs, infographics, bite-size videos etc for publicity and engagement
  • Assist in organisation of online content and resources in the L&D intranet site

Other operational support:

  • Provide adhoc support, as required, for instance, research on service providers, training programmes, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and others
  • Assist in collation of reports/statistics for returns on capabilities development
  • Adhoc support in client's and other events, as required

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Degree or Diploma
  • Experienced in job area is important.
  • Have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. An understanding of both private and public sector L&D practices will be advantageous.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and organisational skills.
  • Be a self-starter who is able to work well independently as well as in a team.
  • Be attentive to details and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.

Salary: $14 to $20/hour

Location: Maxwell Road

Contract Period: 6 months

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday : 8.30am – 6pm

Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
