Job summary

PEOPLE PROFILERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead workshop activities, manage priorities and ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.

You will mentor a team, drive lean initiatives and coordinate with maintenance to optimise manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in a production supervisory role in an MNC setting, with Lean manufacturing and problem-solving skills, plus strong safety awareness and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in related field is required.
• 5 years of Production Supervisor experience in MNC production/manufacturing environments.
• Leadership experience is compulsory.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and problem solving.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate and sustain high level of Lean Management.
• Plans and leads the activities in the production workshop.
• Risk Management, Incident Investigation & preventive measures.
• Assist supervisor in monitoring and resolving matters related to production operations.
• Manage work order priorities and manpower schedules according to requirements and timelines.
• Ensure department Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost output goals met.
• Provide training, motivation, guidance and communication to team members to develop competent, disciplined and quality-conscious team.
• Coordinate with maintenance and upgrade of machine tools to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to optimize manufacturing processes and queue times.
• Initiate improvement plans and cost savings.
• Responsible for record-keeping and for team member performance appraisals and work goal meetings.
• Leads with limited autonomy after establishment of overall direction with supervisor guidance.
• Establishes employee objectives and carry out disciplinary actions and rewards as required.
• Assist in driving the team to meet on-time delivery.
• Resolve routine queries and problems independently.
• Review employee timeclock hours.
