NAKANO SINGAPORE (PTE) LTD is seeking a Safety & Health Officer to assist the Project Manager in implementing safety management systems and permit to work processes. You will chair the Project WSH Committee meetings and ensure compliance with MOM, NEA, and ISO-related requirements.

You will conduct site safety inspections, report deviations, and coordinate safety training to maintain high environment health standards, while supporting regulatory audits and site safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Specialist Diploma or equivalent in Workplace Safety & Health is required.
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) under MOM regulations is required.
• Certified Environmental Control Officer (ECO) under NEA requirements is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in safety and environmental compliance.
• Solid familiarity with the WSH Act and related environmental regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Project Manager in implementing the safety management system.
• Support permit to work system and stop incompatible works.
• Act as secretary of the Project WSH Committee and chair meetings.
• Ensure compliance with WSH Acts, regulations and in-house rules.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections to improve safety standards.
• Report deviations to management and recommend corrective actions.
• Organise safety training and promotional activities.
