We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer with expertise in Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments to join our organization in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions that support our enterprise operations. You will work with cutting-edge technologies while ensuring system reliability, security, and optimal performance across our IT landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server and RHEL infrastructure solutions in on-premises and hybrid environments
• Perform system administration tasks including user management, access controls, patch management, and security hardening across both platforms
• Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to streamline operational processes and improve efficiency
• Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and optimize infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and resource utilization
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize business impact
• Manage virtualization platforms and storage solutions, ensuring proper configuration and capacity planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure changes and upgrades while maintaining system stability
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and architectural decisions
• Conduct security assessments and implement best practices to protect infrastructure from vulnerabilities
• Participate in incident management and provide on-call support as needed
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to existing systems

Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Windows Server (Wintel) administration and management (Must Have)
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) (Must Have)

• Knowledge of Symantec EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)
• Experience with IBM Tivoli Monitoring
• Familiarity with RSA security solutions
• Experience in vulnerability remediation tracking and management

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, operations, or support roles
• Experience supporting enterprise or government sector projects is an advantage
