Job description

Responsibilities (Text Only)

Responsibilities include gathering customer and partner insights from a broad range of stakeholders and the main business sponsor to shape project definitions and execution. You will socialize the business solution and project approach with stakeholders to identify necessary changes. Using an evidence-based approach, you will represent the customer/partner as an advocate, sharing insights with Product Engineering teams and the business to improve Microsoft technologies, products, services, and offerings to better meet customer and partner needs across a territory.

You will define and document the architecture through various documents, including an architecture description, decisions log, and traceability matrix, to communicate the value proposition and project approach. Working with customers, you will understand and demonstrate the business value of solutions, managing ambiguity and documenting assumptions where necessary. You will generate new or improve existing intellectual property, connecting gaps and patterns across business and technology areas to drive change.

You will identify ideas worth pursuing, considering scalability and promoting reuse of intellectual property. You will participate in and contribute to internal and external communities, and lead virtual teams around technologies and challenges by sharing insights, ideas, and strategic technical input. Your expertise should include Microsoft architectures and their context within the competitive landscape.

Technology Areas
  • Understanding complex business problems to leverage appropriate technology and design solutions.
  • Enterprise-scale experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture design, database migrations, and technology management.
  • Experience moving data from on-premises to cloud platforms, designing cloud-native data warehouses, and working with various data types.
  • Knowledge of Big Data and Data Warehousing tools such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Explorer.
  • Experience with Advanced Analytics, Data Science, and Machine Learning frameworks like Azure ML, TensorFlow.
  • Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, storage, query optimization, data modeling, SQL development, and database administration.
  • Understanding of data security and compliance, data integration, and data flow management.
Qualifications (Text Only)
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields and 8+ years of experience, or Master's Degree and 6+ years, or equivalent experience in technology solutions, architecture, or related domains.
  • At least 2 years managing multiple projects or portfolios.
  • At least 1 year leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Extensive experience in technology solutions, practice development, and consulting.
  • 6+ years of technical sales, project management, and 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Technical or professional certification in relevant domains (e.g., Security).
