Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 1+ years in a technical leadership capacity.
• Proven hands-on experience with Java, Node.js, Docker/Podman, OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Experience designing complex enterprise architectures and performing effort estimation.
• Background in migrating applications from VM to containers.
• Familiarity with Flutter/Dart and server-driven mobile web delivery.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Drive full SDLC processes with a focus on secure coding, quality assurance, and timely delivery.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, and resource allocations.

• Lead the migration of legacy VM-based systems to containerized platforms using OpenShift/Kubernetes.

• Documentation, testing, CI/CD, and security standards, Mentor, manage, and review work from a small team of offshore developers.

• Oversee integration with Messaging platforms (Solace PubSub+, IBM MQ) ,Databases (Oracle via JDBC) , Front-end delivery (web and mobile using WebSocket).

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 1+ years in a technical leadership capacity.

• Proven hands-on experience with Java (Quarkus preferred), Node.js (AngularJS), Docker/Podman, OpenShift/Kubernetes, messaging systems (Solace, IBM MQ), Oracle DB (SQL, JDBC), REST APIs, WebSocket, SSO, and web caching.

• Experience designing complex enterprise architectures and performing effort estimation.

• Background in migrating applications from VM to containers.

• Familiarity with Flutter/Dart and server-driven mobile web delivery.

Good to Have:

• Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certification.

• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter.

• Exposure to cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Understanding of container security and compliance.
