Job summary

BITSMEDIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Android application developer to join our team. You will work on releasing Android apps, write clean, scalable code, and fix issues proactively while collaborating across product and design teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of Android development experience, a solid portfolio of released apps, and strong knowledge of Git. Proficiency in Swift and understanding of the full Android development lifecycle are valued assets.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years experience in android application development
• Bachelor’s or Master’ degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Diploma holders or a person with mid-career switch with equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• A portfolio of work showcasing released android apps
• Proficient in Swift
• Proficient android design and development lifecycle
• Good knowledge of Git or any other version control system
• Writes readable, maintainable, future-proof, scalable code
• Must be able to identify and fix issues proactively
• Willing to be based in Singapore

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge in android application development
• Good understanding in app architectures and design patterns
• Good understanding of CI/CD and release lifecycle
• Proficient in android frameworks
• Proficient in RESTful APIs and their integration with android apps
• Working knowledge of Firebase and its different products
• Able to review others’ codes
• Able to help out junior developers
• Able to work on full features independently
