Job summary

Augmentus is seeking a senior robotics software engineer to collaborate with application engineers and robotics experts in delivering industrial automation solutions. You will implement robotic software for diverse applications and assist in configuring systems to meet client needs.

You will lead and contribute to projects across hardware, sensors, and software, produce detailed documentation, and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robotic arms (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Yaskawa).
• Experience leading and managing a team.
• Experience with robotic programming, engineering, or automation projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with application engineers and robotics experts to implement robotic software solutions for various industrial applications.
• Assist in configuring robotic systems to meet client needs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
• Support the integration of robotic hardware, sensors, and software components to create comprehensive industrial automation solutions.
• Participate in the creation of detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and system specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely solutions to ensure smooth operation of robotic systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful project execution.
• Learn and develop expertise in the company’s proprietary robotic systems and technologies.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in industrial robotics and automation to contribute fresh ideas to projects.
• Adapt and learn quickly to new tools, technologies, and processes as required.
