Job summary

A*STAR Research Entities is seeking a Contracts Manager to support governance of research grants and project agreements. You will review terms, manage compliance, and assist with project administration.

The role involves collaborating with researchers, funding agencies, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders, with a focus on process improvement and digitalisation using SharePoint and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in contract management, grant administration, or project administration.
• Familiarity with research grant terms and project agreements is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage grant terms and conditions, funding agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs, and other contracts.
• Liaise with researchers, funding agencies, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders on contractual matters.
• Maintain accurate project and contract records and support reporting, analytics, and digitalisation initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance contract management and project administration processes.
• Assist the Confidential Compliance Manager (CCM) in governance of Confidential Information, including audits and awareness programmes.

Contracts Manager (Research Grants & Agreements)

Role Summary

IAIC is seeking a Contracts Manager to support the administration and governance of research grants and project agreements. The role involves reviewing grant terms and conditions, managing contractual and compliance requirements, supporting project administration, and driving process improvement and digitalisation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and manage grant terms and conditions, funding agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs, and other project-related contracts.
• Liaise with researchers, funding agencies, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders on contractual and administrative matters.
• Maintain accurate project and contract records and support reporting, analytics, and digitalisation initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance project administration and contract management processes.
• Assist the Confidential Compliance Manager (CCM) in the governance of Confidential Information (CI), including compliance monitoring, audits, and awareness programmes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in contract management, grant administration, research management, contract management or project administration.
• Familiarity with research grant terms and conditions and project agreements is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with digitalisation initiatives, AI-enabled productivity tools, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar platforms will be advantageous.
