Job description

Summary:

• MNC

• Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.48pm

• UP$6000-$8200

• AWS+VB

• Pioneer

• Company transport island-wide

Responsibilities:

• To lead, identify, develop, industrialize, and machining process on milling, grinding, fast hole EDM, sinker EDM for the services network

• Hands-on development on repair required for qualification and industrialization

• Provide technical guidance for engineers and specialists in the execution of design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering practices

• Assure all machining and tooling processes meet required specifications, considering the quality and productivity aspects for these technologies

• Deliver processes to meet NPI and productivity initiatives

• Utilize lean-manufacturing values and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs, and increase capacity

• Maintain schedules for the project deliverables and communicate progress to all levels of the organization

• Assist with equipment upgrades from purchase through installation

• Conduct cost/benefit assessments for possible changes to processes and/or equipment

• Ensure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related studies

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in supporting machining development within a manufacturing environment

• Strong CAD/CAM Skills, proven ability to translate 3D models into tool movement and machine movement that achieves design goals

• Ability and willingness to travel locally or overseas, as required
