Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Principal/Senior/Executive Engineer in Station Rejuvenation Design to lead cross-disciplinary efforts to transform ageing MRT stations, focusing on accessibility, crowding, and vibrant public spaces.

You will design and manage consultants through preliminary designs, secure approvals, and oversee projects from concept to implementation, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant Civil/Structural Engineering design experience.
• Experience in design development of railway projects would be an advantage.
• Strong interest in developing project management skills and improving the stations-built environment.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Collaborative, learning mindset and ability to drive projects to deliverables and outcomes.
• Candidates with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Design manage consultants to develop preliminary designs.
• Ensure designs meet internal and external stakeholder requirements.
• Address overcrowding and improve station accessibility and vibrancy.
• Lead station rejuvenation projects from concept to implementation.
• Oversee tender evaluation and award processes for consultants and contractors.
• Maintain projects on budget and on schedule.
• Secure planning approvals and safeguard railway corridors.
