Job summary

GovTech in Singapore seeks Principal/Senior/Executive Engineer for Station Rejuvenation Design. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to shape station improvements, manage consultants, and translate insights into lasting rail-network enhancements.

Responsibilities include engineering studies, planning approvals, and tender oversight for consultants and contractors, with a focus on accessibility, congestion relief, and sustainable delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Civil/Structural Engineering design, experience in design development of railway projects would be an advantage
• Strong interest and passion in developing project management skills and improving the stations-built environment
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Collaborative, strong learning mindset and interest to drive projects to meet deliverables and outcomes
• Candidates with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles
• As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.

Responsibilities

• Design managing engineering studies for station rejuvenation projects.
• Oversee development of preliminary designs meeting internal and external requirements.
• Translate insights into built outcomes that ease congestion and improve accessibility.
• Lead consultants through tender evaluation and award processes.
• Ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule while safeguarding rail corridors.
