Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Typically 4–7 years of work experience in engineering design, tools and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Designs engineering solutions, using multiple disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions.
• Optimizes concepts and designs with analytical and physical assessments to increase efficiency and quality.
• Develops and implements parameters and test plans; validates mechanical, electrical, software, and other specs.
• Performs technical risk assessments and ensures mitigation efforts.
• Leads a project team of engineers and partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
• Represents the mechanical/thermal team for larger and more complex development projects.
• Delivers professionally written reports and supports strategic plans.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff.
