Job summary

WuXi AppTec in Singapore is seeking a senior analytical scientist to lead troubleshooting investigations and oversee method development, validation, and transfer of API analyses. You will design experiments, analyze data, write reports, and provide technical support across teams.

The role requires Ph.D. or Master’s in Chemistry or related fields with extensive experience, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Chinese to liaise with stakeholders in China and overseas.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry, or related fields.
• 2 years (Ph.D.) or 6 years (Master’s) of relevant experience.
• Proficient in analytical expertise and familiarity with ICH, Chinese Pharmacopoeia, USP, EP, etc.
• Rich experience in experimental design and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical trouble-shooting skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Outstanding laboratory operation skills.
• Excellent time/schedule management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate analytical trouble shooting investigations.
• Design experiments, analyze data, and write reports.
• Resolve technical issues in the laboratory and provide technical support.
• Lead and train team members to enhance research capabilities.
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments and clients to drive project progress.
• Independently manage projects and oversee laboratory operations.
• Keep up with latest industry technologies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
