Job description

About FutureLearner.ai

FutureLearner.ai builds an AI-adaptive learning engine that converts existing syllabus materials - past exam papers, textbooks, curriculum documents - into a complete, individualised mastery journey through AI-generated video lessons, assessments and targeted gap-closing content. The platform is syllabus-agnostic, running the same engine for Kindergarten to Junior College content and for working professionals content. The core engine exists. The commercial product does not yet - this role is being created to build that layer.

Role Purpose

The Lead Product Manager develops the product portfolio roadmap, pricing and launch strategies, and financial projections for FutureLearner.ai - leading development across the product suite, evaluating market feedback to identify gaps, and prioritising features against strategic goals. This is a first-in-role hire with no incumbent product function, roadmap, pricing architecture or documentation. The appointee builds these from zero, working directly with the CEO and engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the product portfolio roadmap across the K-to-JC and working professionals product lines, including pricing, launch strategy and financial projections.
  • Create feature descriptions and review product requirement documents.
  • Anticipate business, regulatory and compliance issues affecting the product, including minors' data, attention-tracking data, and education-sector procurement.
  • Present product portfolio performance to the CEO, board and external stakeholders.
  • Lead development across the product suite; evaluate market feedback and translate it into ideation and development priorities.
  • Design detailed specifications and development costing against market potential and revenue.
  • Define requirements and desired user experience across learner, parent, teacher and enterprise-administrator interfaces.
  • Determine development, implementation and release timelines.
  • Develop marketing tactics and pricing strategies for each product line; drive market research into new technology and adjacent syllabus verticals.
  • Lead business proposals for new product opportunities across tuition centres, schools, corporate compliance buyers and content partners.
  • Manage budget expenditure and allocation across product initiatives; propose operational plans and staff forecasts.
  • Track product and team KPIs; as the function grows, develop learning roadmaps and manage team performance.
Product Scope

Product ownership spans seven layers: content ingestion, learning delivery, gap analysis and adaptive remediation, gamification, attention and engagement monitoring, conversational AI teacher, and the data flywheel.

Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent, with demonstrated experience in a commercial, operational or delivery role in a technology environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, with demonstrated ability to structure business cases, engage institutional or enterprise decision-makers, and translate customer requirements into documented specifications.
  • Ideally with working knowledge of product development and management tools, and of product positioning and pricing methodologies.
  • Comfort operating without an existing playbook, reporting directly to the CEO.
  • Working knowledge of the education and executive learning sector in Singapore.
  • Strong adaptability, collaboration, customer orientation, global perspective and transdisciplinary thinking.
