Job description

Pfizer Singapore is recruiting permanent employees for the manufacturing site expansion of Pfizer Asia Manufacturing Pte Ltd (PAMPL) in Singapore.

What You Will Achieve

You will provide cleaning validation support for multiple processing areas within API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). Responsibilities include developing procedures, guiding the shop floor to ensure proper cleaning and release of equipment after each campaign. You should have strong knowledge of API equipment/technologies, operations, SOPs, GMP, standard work, and a focus on continuous improvement, along with organizational, communication, and people skills.

As part of the Technical Operations team, you are recognized as a subject matter expert and serve as an ongoing technical resource, overseeing cleaning to meet EHS and GMP standards, and working to maximize production efficiency. You will adapt standard methods and procedures based on your knowledge and experience, considering cross-organizational impacts to enhance project quality. You will make decisions on appropriate methods and procedures for different situations, train others, and promote behaviors aligned with our goal to provide the best healthcare to patients.

How You Will Achieve It
  1. Stand in for Shift Team Supervisors (STS) and act as Site Incident Commander when necessary.
  2. Direct Process Technicians in operating and cleaning process equipment, ensuring permits are issued safely.
  3. Provide guidance, support, and training to improve team capabilities.
  4. Develop OJT, JSA, and RA for plant operations and conduct training for new hires.
  5. Perform material handling, sampling, filter inspection, change-out, and charging operations as per SOP.
  6. Conduct pre- and post-campaign activities, including cleaning and setup.
  7. Operate panels, monitor process trends and alarms using DCS Delta V system.
  8. Ensure proper shift handovers and update Standard Work documentation.
  9. Complete documentation following GMP and GDP standards.
  10. Monitor plant status, liaise with other departments, troubleshoot deviations, and coordinate resolutions.
  11. Prepare and clean equipment for maintenance and respond to safety incidents.
  12. Assist in investigations of incidents and operational deviations.
  13. Perform system transactions in LIMS, AMPS, SAP, MTS, EMAS, etc.
  14. Complete all required training and participate in emergency response activities.
  15. Identify and communicate operational issues, develop solutions, and uphold Pfizer’s values.

Qualifications - Must-Have
  • NITEC or higher NITEC, GCE ‘O/A’ levels, or Diploma in a technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or petrochemicals
  • Ability to act decisively and independently
  • Positive attitude and pride in work
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with official medical proof
