Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks a Technical Manager – SCADA Systems for MRT rail projects. You will provide technical leadership from concept through commissioning, ensuring system integrity and compliance with rail standards while coordinating engineers, vendors and customers.

You will oversee SCADA/PLC design, integration, FAT/SAT, and change management, review technical deliverables, and act as the technical authority on SCADA and safety-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years’ PLC/SCADA experience in railway/MRT projects.
• Proven technical leadership or lead engineer experience.
• Strong PLC/SCADA architectures knowledge.
• Experience with Siemens and Schneider PLC platforms.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, architecture, and integration of SCADA systems for MRT projects.
• Act as technical authority for SCADA, PLC, and related control systems.
• Review and manage engineering deliverables and technical documentation.
• Define technical standards, QA/QC processes across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, FAT/SAT at factory and site locations.
• Ensure robust change management for software, configurations and hardware.
• Interface with customers, consultants, PMs and internal teams on technical matters.
• Mentor project engineers and coordinate technical resources.
