Job summary

ikas international (asia) pte. ltd. is seeking a Lead / Principal DevOps Engineer to drive design, evolution, and operation of our engineering platforms and cloud infrastructure. You will lead complex initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

The role emphasizes DevOps, SRE, cloud architecture, automation, and reliability engineering, with hands-on ownership of CI/CD, IaC, containers, and security practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud/Platform Engineering.
• Expert in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Deep knowledge of AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC.
• Experience with Linux, networking, monitoring, and production operations.
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
• MySQL/PostgreSQL databases and backend service architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect and enhance scalable CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend applications.
• Establish DevOps best practices, automation standards, and developer enablement solutions.
• Improve software delivery velocity through automation, release optimization, and self-service platforms.
• Design and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code, containers, and orchestration with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Drive SRE practices including monitoring, observability, incident response, and system reliability improvements.
• Implement DevSecOps across CI/CD pipelines and production environments.
• Improve system resilience through automation, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Partner with developers, QA, security, and product teams to improve engineering efficiency.
• Evaluate and introduce technologies that enhance platform capability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps & CI/CD
