Job summary

Soitec Group in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Plasma Etch Equipment Specialist to support production through maintenance, qualification, and continuous improvement. You will perform PM/CM, troubleshoot downtime, and drive yield improvements in a fast-paced fab environment.

Responsibilities include tool parameter optimization, root cause analysis, CAPA, and documentation of performance metrics, while ensuring safety and compliance in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with plasma etch equipment and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and downtime minimization skills.
• Experience in PM/CM planning, execution and documentation.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis methods (8D, Fishbone, FMEA).
• Ability to drive CAPA and process improvements in a fab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plasma etch systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and minimize downtime.
• Ensure machines meet safety and operational standards.
• Manage spares, part tracking and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with process engineers to optimize tool parameters.
• Lead/participate in productivity and cost-reduction projects.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs and performance reports.
