About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned performance marketing leader to drive subscriber growth, brand awareness, and engagement through sophisticated paid media strategies. As Lead, Performance Marketing, you will oversee full-funnel media campaigns across platforms, lead a high-performing team, and collaborate across business units to deliver business impact.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven creative thinker, well-versed in the dynamics of both FMCG-style media thinking and digital innovation. You bring deep expertise from both agency and in-house environments, and know how to thrive in complex, fast-changing ecosystems. You combine analytical precision with storytelling instincts — and have the leadership presence to influence across a matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and optimisation of integrated paid media campaigns across Search, Social, Display, Native, and programmatic platforms

  • Drive full-funnel performance marketing to meet KPIs for subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention

  • Manage and mentor a team of 3, providing strategic direction, executional support, and skills development

  • Partner closely with analytics, content, product, brand, and commercial teams to align marketing with broader business priorities

  • Translate audience insights and campaign performance into creative and media optimisations

  • Guide and challenge external agency partners to deliver efficient, innovative, and results-driven solutions

  • Develop a robust performance measurement framework, ensuring campaigns are tracked, attributed, and reported with accuracy

  • Present performance narratives and business impact to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence

  • Stay ahead of platform changes, consumer trends, and digital innovation — continuously elevating the team’s thinking and execution

  • Champion test-and-learn strategies and marketing innovation through audience segmentation, creative testing, and channel experimentation

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in performance marketing roles, including leadership positions in both media agencies and/or in-house marketing teams

  • Strong background in FMCG or high-volume consumer industries, with a track record of scaling customer growth through paid media

  • Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns across Meta, Google, Native, Programmatic, and emerging digital platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders across large, matrixed organizations
