Lead .NET Software Engineer - Assurant, GCC-India

The Lead Software Engineer architects, designs, codes, and tests multi-platform application programs, functions, services, and other related software components in response to complex problem and project change requests. The incumbent provides leadership, technical guidance, training, and mentoring to team members. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, leading, supervising, and coordinating daily activities within the team. The role involves applying relevant emerging technologies to develop quality products within time and budget constraints.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design solutions for high-complexity projects and change requests.
• Design and develop system, application, and program code per business and technical requirements.
• Implement solutions and provide system support.
• Oversee daily activities of the development team.
• Maintain knowledge of business operations and strategic goals.
• Travel up to 10% for training or industry conferences.

Minimum Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years with C# .NET, APIs, and Azure.
• Azure Function App and DevOps experience preferred.
• 5+ years of documentation skills to translate requirements into specifications.
• Experience estimating effort, cost, and duration for complex deliverables.
• Experience with web and cloud-based services development methodologies.

• 2+ years of leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience.
