Job summary

Motional Singapore Pte. Limited is seeking a staff engineer to develop state-of-the-art motion planning algorithms for autonomous vehicle behaviors across Motional's fleet of robotaxis.

The role will design and build robust software enabling rapid exploration and evaluation of motion planning approaches and algorithms. You will define multi-quarter roadmaps, lead system-level design, and mentor engineers to foster a culture of robust documentation and continuous technical learning, with a focus

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with algorithm development in motion planning, navigation, or robotics.
• Experience owning and leading technical development from problem formulation to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-quarter technical roadmaps and OKRs spanning multiple sub-systems.
• Lead design reviews and establish team-level processes for system-level design and feature implementations.
• Own system-level architecture for core products and drive reliability and incident response.
• Mentor junior and senior team members to foster product-focused engineering and documentation.
