Job summary

WuXi XDC in Singapore seeks a QC Microbiology Lead to provide technical leadership and oversight of the QC Microbiology team. You will drive environmental monitoring, testing across water, raw materials, in-process samples, and product release, while ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field required.
• Minimum 6 years in GMP laboratory environments (biopharma or medical devices).
• Proficiency with PIC/S, ICH, FDA/EMA/NMPA/WHO guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for QC Microbiology and support the QC Manager.
• Lead environmental monitoring, testing of water, raw materials, in-process samples, and product release testing.
• Develop and manage environmental monitoring programs and contamination control plans.
• Conduct investigations, change controls, and CAPA related to environmental control and contamination risks.
• Oversee training, scheduling, performance, and development of staff.
• Ensure gCMP/GDP/CFR/PIC/S compliance and data integrity in all reports.
• Author/review SOPs, validation docs, and QC reports; guide deviations and investigations.
