Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Staff/Senior Engineer – Mechanical Systems to lead planning, design, construction, testing and commissioning of wet and dry mechanical systems in semiconductor facilities.

You will drive project management, coordinate with electrical, structural, and process teams, supervise contractors, oversee FAT/SAT, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and guide the lifecycle from design through handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction or program/project management with at least 5 years in semiconductor industry.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale mechanical infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of mechanical systems (wet and dry) and review technical specifications, equipment selection, and drawings.
• Oversee installation, construction, and handover, manage contractors and ensure project schedules and quality.
• Ensure safety, compliance with local and international codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.), and risk management.
• Lead end-to-end execution of mechanical construction programs and drive cross-functional coordination.
