The Joiner is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of marine electrical systems. The role focuses on power distribution, lighting, and communication networks, with on-site coordination and supervision.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have proven marine commissioning experience, strong knowledge of electrical codes (ISPS, IEC), and excellent problem-solving skills. Independence and teamwork are both valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical commissioning, preferably marine.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards (ISPS, IEC).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise commissioning of marine electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, comms).
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to identify and resolve electrical installation issues.
• Develop and implement commissioning procedures and checklists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure commissioning activities meet budget and quality requirements.
