Job summary

MPA Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore seeks a senior leader to head a team in the International Division, spearheading relations and driving projects with foreign maritime administrations and stakeholders. You will develop and manage MPA’s bilateral and multilateral relations to advance Singapore's maritime interests.

You will identify international maritime issues, analyse their impact, and recommend strategies.

Qualifications

You should possess six to 10 years of relevant working experience in the International Relations or equivalent function, with preferably at least two years of supervisory experience.
You should have strong analytical, writing and communications skills, and a good command of English.
You should also possess strong organisational and project management skills, and the ability to lead team(s) to handle multiple complex projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

Lead your team to spearhead relations and drive projects with foreign maritime administrations and stakeholders.
Develop and manage MPA’s multilateral and bilateral relations with foreign maritime administrations and relevant stakeholders.
Identify and analyse international maritime issues for their impact to Singapore and recommend strategies and responses.
Forge and strengthen partnerships with foreign maritime administrations and relevant stakeholders.
Organise and host meetings, incoming visits and other events; travel as a representative of MPA and Singapore.
