Job summary

Venti Technologies is seeking a Mapping Engineer to own map information quality for autonomous vehicles, setting annotation standards and leading map testing and validation. You will collaborate with the Mapping and Localization team and mentoring mapping specialists to improve workflows and automation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of GIS experience and HD map maintenance
• Ability to plan and run map validation or testing
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of map information for autonomous vehicles and set annotation standards
• Define strategy and plan for testing and validating new maps
• Lead mapping tests with the Testing team and analyze onboard sensor data to resolve issues
• Own map version deployment and update planning across the fleet
• Mentor Mapping Specialists and review their work
