Job summary

Venti Technologies in Singapore seeks a Mapping Specialist to own the quality of map information for autonomous vehicles, define testing strategies, and lead mapping validation across the vehicle fleet. You will mentor Mapping Specialists, collaborate with Localization, and contribute to tooling and automation for mapping workflows.

A bachelor's degree and 4+ years in GIS are required; ROS and real-world robotics experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with GIS applications, ideally in HD map creation or maintenance.
• Experience planning and running map validation or testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of map information for autonomous vehicles and set annotation standards for the mapping team.
• Define strategy and plan for testing and validating new maps against requirements.
• Lead mapping tests with the Testing team and analyze onboard sensor data to resolve map issues.
• Own map version deployment and update planning across the vehicle fleet (rollout/rollback).
• Mentor Mapping Specialists and review their work.
• Collaborate with Mapping and Localization team to improve mapping tools and workflows.
