Job summary

ST Engineering Singapore is seeking an Assistant Principal Engineer to oversee the end-to-end physical infrastructure and security installations for Green Field projects. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years hands-on security/ELV/structured cabling or data center deployment experience; 2–3 years supervisory/managerial.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee end-to-end physical infrastructure and security installations.
• Lead engineers and subcontractors; act as site primary client contact.
• Ensure cabling, racks, containment systems meet ANSI/TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC standards and local IMDA rules.
• Enforce WSH guidelines; perform risk assessments and Safe Work Procedures on site.
• Coordinate with clients, IT teams, and internal engineers; provide progress reports and manage change orders.
• Oversee inventory, tools, and logistics of site deliveries (racks, containment tracks, cable boxes).
• Oversee testing, labeling, and commissioning of network drops; deliver as-built docs and cable certifications.
