What the role is:
You will play a dual role in the AppDev squad in xDigital division, combining business analysis expertise with technical development capabilities. This position converts business needs into digital solutions by developing applications through enterprise low-code platforms, with emphasis on ServiceNow, ensuring quick and effective delivery of applications for HTX.In this role, you will gather and analyse business requirements, design practical solutions, and build applications using low-code development approaches. This work supports process improvements and digital transformation initiatives across HTX, helping to streamline operations and enhance user experience.
What you will be working on:
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with objectives and technical feasibility.• Translate business requirements into user stories and technical specifications to guide application development.• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to identify integration requirements and ensure seamless system connectivity.• Design and develop applications using appropriate development approaches (no-code, low-code, or pro-code) on the enterprise low-code platforms, selecting the most suitable method based on business requirements, complexity, and performance needs.• Create and implement solutions using forms, workflows, automated processes, and system integrations, leveraging the capabilities of enterprise low-code platforms to deliver robust business applications.• Perform thorough system testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.• Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, configurations, user guides, and process flows.• Provide training and support to end-users on newly implemented solutions and system enhancements.• Monitor application performance and user feedback, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.• Diagnose and resolve technical issues for applications built on the low-code platforms, providing timely support to ensure continuous system availability and optimal performance for users.• Conduct systematic testing of applications when platform updates are released, ensuring existing functionalities remain compatible and identifying necessary adjustments to maintain application performance and stability.• Stay current with the enterprise low-code platform updates and best practices to optimise development approaches and solution design.
What we are looking for:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology.• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent disciplines.• Experience in developing applications using ServiceNow Creator Workflows/App Engine Flow Designer, JavaScript and REST• Experience in the ServiceNow modules preferred: Human Resource Service Delivery, Talent Development• Professional certification in ServiceNow Certified Application Developer• Professional certification in ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Human Resources (CIS-HR) will be advantageous• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in an agile team environment.• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across different stakeholder groups.All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified within 4 weeks upon closing of the advertisement.#LI-NL1
