Lead Engineer - Electrical & Electronics

Job Description: As the lead engineer for all ICE Programs, you will be responsible for the mechanical integration of Connected cockpit components, including Display, AR HUD, Silver Box, USB, Antenna, Wireless Charger, Telematics, E Call Module, and the Instrument Cluster. Your key deliverables will involve maintaining DFMEA, DVP, weight, BOM, layout, and implementing best packaging practices in alignment with the electronic component functional requirements. Additionally, you will oversee build, validation, field, and service-related requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience
  • B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Industry preferred qualifications

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in software such as 3DX and CATIA V5
  • Experience in using Teamcentre
  • Prior experience handling Vehicle Projects
  • Skills in Vehicle/Powertrain Integration systems
  • Strong spatial thinking and collaborative skills
  • Effective communication with suppliers and plant personnel
  • Successfully delivered at least one full vehicle project
