Job summary

GVT Government Technology Agency is seeking an Engineer in the PDCS Division of Water Reclamation Plants to lead electrical design for NKWRP and CP3 expansions. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to plan, design and implement high-voltage and distribution systems, ensuring end-user requirements are met.

You will liaise with consultants, EMA and SPPG, and contribute to future-ready, energy-efficient plant operations through digitalisation and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.
• Experience in infrastructure projects or plant design/construction/operations & maintenance preferred.
• Good communication, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for large-scale water reclamation plants.
• Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to meet scope, quality, benefits and risk targets.
• Develop electrical design aspects: EHT/HT/LT switchgears, transformers, diesel generators, power cables, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SS638, electrical codes, SPPG handbook and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address reliability, maintainability and future-proofing considerations.
• Involve in smart initiatives like digital twinning, automation, AI and robotics.
