Job summary

PUB Public Utilities Board - SGP is seeking an Engineer in the Planning, Development & Corporate Services (PDCS) Division of Water Reclamation Plants. You will join the Electrical and Power System Design team to help design NKWRP and CP3 expansion projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet timelines and fulfil end-user needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset.
• Experience in infrastructure projects or plant design/ construction/ operations & maintenance work is preferred.
• Good communication, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering knowledge to develop complex industrial solutions for next-gen water reclamation plants.
• Develop engineering specialisation competencies (e.g., 66kV experience).
• Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to meet scope, quality, benefits and risks within timeline.
• Design electrical scope: EHT/HT/LT switchgear (66kV/22kV/LT), transformers, diesel generators, power cables, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure design compliance with standards and safety regulations (SS638, electrical codes, SPPG).
• Coordinate with EMA and SPPG on 66kV/22kV electrical works for NKWRP and CP3.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to address reliability, safety, maintainability and future-proofing.
• Involve in smart initiatives like digital twinning, automation, AI, and robotics.
