Lead Electrical Engineer

Job Description

• Issues Material Take-Offs for Outfitting items like Cable Trays, Cable Tray Support, MCT, Equipment Support etc.
• Performs cable tray sizing calculations, designs cable tray routing, and calculates MCT sizes to ensure safe and efficient cable management.
• Develops typical details to standardize the overall design of equipment supports, improving consistency and efficiency in construction.
• Participates in engineering and project review meetings and coordinates with the Petrobras and SG teams.
• Leads and manages the group, produces the necessary results for modelling tasks, and evaluates and verifies the work.
• Contributes the required design inputs to other engineering disciplines and design outputs.
• Mentors and trains the electrical and instrumentation teams with reference to software and other inputs.
• Prepares Layouts using Smart sketch, such as Lighting Distribution Plans, Power Control Distribution Plans, Cable Ladder Routing and Support Layout.
• Involves in Preparation Layouts like panel location layout, Cable Tray routing layout, MCT installation drawing, Instrument cable tray supports layout.
• Reviews cable block diagram and interface cable list according to that review and checks the Tie in point interface.
• Helps in engineering calculation like cable Tray sizing calculations.
• Identifies and resolves EIT tray clashes based on 3D models.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering/Marine Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in the marine industry.
• Understands construction schedule and analysis of critical path.
• Experienced in managing Vendors and Sub-Contractors.
• Able to handle projects independently.

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:15pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
