JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Development ICT (In-Circuit Test) Engineer requires advanced ICT techniques and technologies to deploy electrical test solutions for customers. The Lead Development ICT Engineer must be capable of leading technical discussions with Jabil’s customers on behalf of the Sr Manager Test Design. Responsibilities include developing test solutions, supporting test development and crisis resolution, and continuously improving core competencies. This role also involves mentoring junior ICT development engineers to enhance their technical skills and development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design for Test
2. Improve hardware (Fixture/Tester) specifications
3. Improve software specifications
4. Prepare documentation packages
5. Define test validation criteria
6. Evaluate new test technologies
7. Support requirements of proposed test solutions
8. Execute customer deliverables
9. Track projects (action items, journals, time entries, milestones, deliverables)
10. Conduct design reviews with customers
11. Review test plans, specifications, and coverage
12. Support customer test crisis as part of the Global Test Team, including escalated support and site requests
13. Provide ICT-specific training as needed
14. Support end-to-end structural test strategies by integrating electrical testing across platforms such as TRI, Flying Probe, X-ray Laminography, Boundary Scan, MDA, and test development tools like GenRad GR228x, Agilent 3070, FabMaster
15. Continuously improve core competencies through problem-solving, research training, and leadership courses
16. Assist Sr Manager Test Design with solutions, quotations, and scheduling
17. Train ICT engineers and facilitate their technical development through rotations and challenges
18. Perform other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to analyze and interpret business journals, technical procedures, and regulations
2. Proficiency in English communication (reading and writing)
3. Background in ICT development on platforms such as Agilent, Genrad, Teradyne, TRI, or Checksum is preferred
4. Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages
5. Ability to understand instructions, correspondence, and memos
6. Effective presentation skills for small groups and individual interactions
7. Project and risk management capabilities
