Job summary

Dyson is advancing its data-security capabilities with a dedicated Associate Principal Cybersecurity Architect for Data. You will lead architecture for protecting structured and unstructured data across endpoints, collaboration services, email, SaaS, cloud platforms and databases, translating business and regulatory needs into robust controls.

You will define classification, labeling and DLP patterns, encryption and key management, and align data protection with governance, legal and privacy

Qualifications

• Significant experience in security architecture at enterprise scale.
• Expertise in Data Loss Prevention across endpoints, email, web, cloud and collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of data lifecycle, labeling and data-risk trade-offs.
• Proven ability to translate legal, privacy and security requirements into technical controls.
• Experience integrating data-security controls with SIEM and incident response.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud and collaboration architectures.

Responsibilities

• Set data security architecture direction and multi-year roadmap for DLP and data handling.
• Define enterprise data classification/handling architecture with metadata, ownership and retention rules.
• Architect data discovery and classification across endpoints, storage, email, SaaS, cloud databases.
• Design risk-based DLP controls: detection logic, policies, encryption, access controls and response.
• Ensure data protection across data in rest, in use and in motion; govern secure sharing and external collaboration.
• Lead governance with Data Governance, Privacy, Legal, HR and IT teams; establish ownership and enforcement.
• Develop reusable security patterns for Microsoft 365, endpoints, SaaS and cloud platforms.
• Drive Data Security Posture Management and sensitive-data exposure visibility.
