Job summary

Geotab, a global leader in IoT and connected transportation, is seeking a Lead Data Platform Developer to design and scale our internal data platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to enable production ML/ GenAI workflows, manage complex data pipelines, and ensure robust, scalable infrastructure.

You will mentor teams, review code, and drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, Flink, and Ray while collaborating with data scientists to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years as a software developer or similar role, with production systems in Python 3.
• 3-5 years in people/managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of the data platform for scalable processing.
• Mentor junior and senior team members and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with data scientists to support ML/GenAI initiatives.
