Job summary

Synapxe is seeking an Assistant Lead Analyst - Informatica (Engineering) to design, build, and govern a robust data infrastructure across AWS, Databricks, and Informatica IDMC. You will architect storage solutions, pipelines, and metadata management to extract insights while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering with AWS, Databricks, and/or Informatica IDMC.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for building data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with data modeling and schema design.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS, Databricks, and Informatica certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect data storage solutions, including databases, data lakes, and warehouses, using AWS services and Databricks Delta Lake.
• Create, manage, and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data using AWS, Databricks, and Informatica IDMC.
• Integrate data from various sources into AWS and Databricks environments, ensuring data consistency and governance.
• Develop ETL processes to cleanse, transform, and enrich data for analytics using Databricks and Informatica IDMC.
• Monitor and optimize data processing and query performance in AWS and Databricks environments.
• Implement security best practices and data encryption to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
• Automate routine tasks using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, Databricks Jobs, and Informatica IDMC.
• Maintain documentation of data infrastructure, pipelines, and configurations with metadata management.
