Digital Biz Solutions PTE. LTD. is seeking an Informatica Data Lead to partner with architects and business analysts to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

You will lead ETL design, database engineering, data modeling, and governance across MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments. You will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize pipelines, migrate PowerCenter to IDMC, and guide best practices in SQL development and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on T-SQL programming experience.
• 2–3 years of Informatica development experience.
• Experience migrating PowerCenter to IDMC.
• Strong SQL performance tuning skills across sources and targets.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD deployment tools.

Job description

Role Overview

The Informatica Data Lead partners with Solution Architects and Business Analysts to deliver end-to-end data solutions for client projects. This role leads ETL design and development, database engineering, data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance practices across MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solution Architect and BAs to design, evaluate, and deliver high-quality end-to-end data solutions for client engagements.
• Engage non-technical subject matter experts to understand and explain data behavior, patterns, and characteristics in an accessible way.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve data and process issues, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Use standard data modeling, data flow, and documentation tools to analyze, document, and present data analysis outputs.
• Plan and develop ETL and data preparation/aggregation processes from multiple sources into MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Maintain and optimize ETL pipelines to meet evolving requirements and changing upstream/downstream dependencies.
• Participate in MS SQL code reviews and guide SQL and ETL best practices.
• Review and validate database schema changes to ensure alignment with data architecture and downstream impacts.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL components (stored procedures, functions, inline SQL) and work confidently with database structures.
• Analyze existing SQL queries and ETL jobs for performance improvements and scalability.
• Monitor code migration and database change management across development lifecycle stages (dev/test/uat/prod).
• Design and develop procedures/scripts for data migration and cutover activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain database policies, procedures, and architecture documentation to ensure data security, integrity, and compliance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5–8 years of hands-on T-SQL programming experience.
• 2–3 years of Informatica development experience.
• Experience migrating Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Strong experience in performance tuning across sources, mappings, targets, and sessions.
• Solid understanding of Data Architecture and Data Modeling concepts.
• Working experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git source control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and/or deployment automation tools.

Preferred / Advantageous Experience

• Delivered ETL and/or data modeling projects for enterprise clients with sizeable scope (e.g., multi-year delivery or large-budget programmes).
• Demonstrated interest in modern ETL/data processing solutions (e.g., Apache Flink) and continuous learning in data engineering.
• Strong AWS experience, including managed services such as:Amazon RDSETL services/toolsStream processing solutions
• Broad AWS cloud delivery experience in client-facing environments.
