Job summary

NTU's Centre for IT Services (CITS) seeks a Senior / Cyber Security Governance Specialist to define and govern enterprise cybersecurity frameworks, lead assurance initiatives, and strengthen the University's resilience against evolving threats. The role focuses on governance, risk, and advisory services across the campus.

Strong OSCP/CREST and 8+ years' IT experience required. The position involves partnering with schools, managing projects, and ensuring secure architectures and testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Cyber Security.
• OSCP or CREST certification required.
• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years in cyber security engineering, assurance, penetration testing or IT risk/governance.
• Strong knowledge of security issues in code written by AI agents (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs).
• Familiarity with NIST handling guidelines, Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber assurance initiatives by defining scope, schedules, methodologies and standards for internal and external testing (web, mobile, network, API).
• Conduct security reviews/audits of enterprise security infra, maintain documentation, and oversee access control and security issues.
• Design risk assessment frameworks and security guardrails for AI-assisted development platforms and test AI-generated code for vulnerabilities.
• Review/approve secure system architectures and ensure security principles are embedded in designs.
• Evaluate authentication, network security configurations, updates and implementations to safeguard enterprise systems.
• Plan, manage and deliver cybersecurity risk assurance projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Partner with schools and stakeholders to identify cybersecurity risks and advise on mitigations.
• Build relationships by providing cybersecurity advisory services and promoting governance across the University.
