Job summary

Land Transport Authority of Singapore is seeking a seasoned project leader to oversee Contractors delivering ISCS, SCS and MMS for MRT control centres, depots, stations and trackside as part of new lines and extensions. You will manage safety, quality, progress and environmental impact of Contractor works, and coordinate with design teams, stakeholders and the appointed Railway Operator to ensure well-coordinated projects.

Prepare tender specs, participate in tender evaluation and award.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects with safety, quality, contract and programme management.
• Strong project management, decision making and leadership skills with proven track records.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented.
• Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, trackwork, electrical and mechanical works.

Responsibilities

• Lead Contractors to supply, design, install, test and commission ISCS/SCS and MMS for MRT lines and extensions.
• Oversee safety, quality, progress and environmental impact of Contractor works.
• Plan and manage risks and cash flows; issue instructions and assess variations/payments/claims.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors, designers, stakeholders and Railway Operator to coordinate projects.
• Prepare tender specifications, participate in tender evaluation and award.
