We are inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- QA Automation. We are looking for a talented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify test requirements and automate test cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for ETL validation and regression testing.
• Verify and validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency using ETL tools and SQL queries.
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation in test management tools such as JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements for ETL testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects, issues, and risks related to ETL testing.
• Conduct root cause analysis on issues during testing and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and functional requirements, test scenarios, and execution.
• Define testing requirements, identify defects, and track resolution with development teams.
• Establish QA metrics and KPIs to measure testing effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure effective communication between teams, keeping stakeholders informed about progress and challenges.
• Identify opportunities to enhance QA processes, domain knowledge management, and business analysis within the compliance domain.

Qualifications

• Experience in Anti Money Laundering (AML), Trade Surveillance, and compliance knowledge.
• Ability to execute functional and technical test cases.
• Knowledge of QA automation frameworks and test suites for UI and non-UI applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools such as Informatica.
• Knowledge of triggering batch jobs using Autosys or similar tools.
• Experience with DevOps tools like JIRA, Zephyr for JIRA, Jenkins, Git, or Visual Studio.
• Experience working in AWS Cloud environment.
• Added advantage: experience with Actimize, Quantexa systems.
